Here’s how to invite a friend to join WW and get credited for a free month:
- Log in to your WW account
- Invite a friend or your spouse from this page on weightwatchers.com.
- An email will be sent to them with your special invitation link and an offer for 3 free months
- If your friend signs up, you will be notified by email, and after 2 weeks your account will be credited with a free month!

Your one-month time credit will be applied by extending your next recurring billing date. Your friend will have the option to include weekly workshops when joining which many women and men find worthwhile. Consider attending the same meetings for more support, accountability, and comradery.
Tip: If you provide your friend’s email information, WW will only use it to email them once on your behalf and will not use it for other purposes.
Weight Watchers Refer a Friend Not Working?
Did your friend sign up through your referral link but you still didn’t get your free month? Here are the terms from WeightWatchers.com:
“To be eligible for the free additional month, your friend must purchase a new WW membership plan and continue for at least 2 weeks after purchase. Your membership must be active at the time of processing. After these criteria are met, you will receive an email confirming your additional month time credit. This one month time credit will be applied by extending your next recurring billing date. Processing of the time credit may take up to 2-4 weeks. If you signed up for a multi-month Commitment Plan, the free month will extend the Commitment Plan period by one month”

If you still don’t see a referral credit after 4 weeks, contact WW with the subject line, “friend referral not working,” with a brief explanation and your friend’s email address. They should be able to fix the problem.
